Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor based in Cavan. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for estimating project costs, preparing tenders, managing budgets, and ensuring project financial performance. The role includes preparing quantity take-offs, valuations, and cost control measures. Additionally, the Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in cost estimation, project budgeting, and financial reporting
* Experience in tender preparation, contract documentation, and quantity take-offs
* Strong skills in contract management, procurement, and negotiation with subcontractors
* Knowledge of building regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements
* Highly organized with strong time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
* Proficient in relevant software for cost management and quantity surveying
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
* Previous experience in the construction sector, especially with civil and commercial projects, is an advantage
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders
