Senior HR Generalist Our client, Irelands leading contract cleaning company, is seeking a proactive and hands-on Senior HR Generalist to take ownership of HR operations across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers and employees, making a tangible impact, and managing the full employee lifecycle in a standalone HR role.
You will act as a trusted partner to the business, providing practical, solutions-focused HR advice and delivering high-quality support across a broad range of HR activities.
External HR consultancy support is available when required.
The Role Reporting directly to the business, you will manage day-to-day HR operations while also contributing to key projects and compliance-led initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Provide guidance and support on grievance and disciplinary matters, working closely with an external HR consultancy Manage and maintain the HR system (Sage HR), ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and contract issuance Administer the Garda Vetting process Manage employee data, reporting, and HR metrics Coordinate online training platforms and maintain toolbox training records Support redundancy, leave, and absence management processes Ensure compliance with work permits and employment legislation Lead and support TUPE processes Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives Act as the key HR point of contact for the Operations team on all people-related matters About You CIPD qualification (or working towards) is an advantage Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar HR Generalist role Confident managing grievance and disciplinary cases end-to-end Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Sage HR Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands A resilient problem-solver with a practical, solution-focused mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, hands-on professional with a genuine can-do attitude Interested?
