We are seeking a skilled insurance claims professional to join our team as a claims handler. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for handling daily claims post, notifications, processing, and phone enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage claims from initial notification through to settlement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Process claims efficiently, resolving queries and disputes in a timely manner.
* Liaise with customers, brokers, and third parties to deliver excellent service and maintain strong relationships.
* Coordinate repairers, loss adjusters, engineers, and other experts to facilitate smooth claim resolution.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in FNOL claims handling.
* APA qualified (or grandfathered) - CIP qualification in progress is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, insurance regulations, and motor legislation.
* Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and work independently.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
