As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering expert care to patients with neuroendocrine late effects of brain tumour treatment. The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality patient outcomes and develop a service that meets the needs of this complex patient group.
Job Summary
The CNS will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management in the maintenance and development of a high-quality service. This will involve managing an autonomous caseload of patients identified collaboratively by the MDT within agreed scope of practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Eligibility Criteria:
* Registered nurses/midwives on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by An Bord Altranais and Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
* Minimum 1 year's post-registration full-time experience or an aggregate of 1 year's full-time experience in the division of the register in which the application is being made
* Minimum 1 year's experience or an aggregate of 1 year's full-time experience in the specialist area of neuroendocrinology
* Successfully completed a post-registration programme of study, as certified by the education provider, that verifies the applicant has achieved a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 9 or higher award that is relevant to the specialist area of care
