About the role:
We are looking for a driven IT professional to join our collaborative team in Dublin or Malta. The successful candidate will support Sprint activities and business-as-usual operations, managing both simultaneously while supporting other teams as our IT team is fully integrated with DevOps and Development teams.
Responsibilities:
* Windows, MacOS & Linux client deployment, administration, monitoring, and maintenance.
* Management of helpdesk & ticketing platforms.
* Serve as the point of contact for all 1st & 2nd level IT support issues.
* Assist with planning IT infrastructure changes.
* Manage cloud environments.
* Liaise with external hardware and software vendors.
* Maintain security standards.
Core Skills:
* Infrastructure administration: DNS, DHCP, AD user management, shares, printers, WSUS, Intune, software deployments, and management.
* PowerShell experience is an advantage.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
* Experience with virtualization platforms.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and a pragmatic approach.
* Operating System deployment, Azure, and Intune management.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum 3+ years of enterprise systems administration and service desk experience.
* Solid experience supporting ITIL-based infrastructure services, including incident, problem, and service request resolution.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills with attention to detail.
* Hands-on experience with physical and virtual servers, storage, firmware upgrades, and patching.
* Some knowledge of Linux operating systems.
* Experience with Android & iOS devices and apps.
Good to have:
* Interest in IT security.
* Experience with VPN technologies.
* Up-to-date IT certifications are highly desirable.
