Building Contractors & Residential DevelopersYour new organisation specialises in planning, managing and delivering detail-focused, high-quality projects for their clients. They operate across a range of sectors, including Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Educational and data centres.They have several medium-to-large-scale projects ongoing and are due to start in the coming months and are seeking Site Managers to join their team and assist them in ensuring they fulfil their promise to plan, communicate and deliver projects of the highest standard with an emphasis on safety, sustainability and quality.These roles include projects that are either coming out of the ground or at a more internal phase.Your New Role & Responsibilities:These roles can be paid on either an hourly rate or on a salary basis. There is a good level of flexibility in these organisations.Your new role within the organisation is to be a Site Manager on one of several projects they currently have ongoing.Their sites typically consist of apartments, commercial space, housing, Government Works or Pharma and Data Centres. Selection of Duties as a Site Manager
1. Help develop, plan and implement the programme
2. Responsibility for management of subcontractors and direct employees on site
3. Consult and liaise with subcontractors regarding the programme of works
4. Ensuring that the highest levels of H&S, Quality and Environmental standards are met on site.
5. Responsibility for ensuring all resources are available on site when required
6. Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and senior management
7. Ensure compliance with Building Regs, Fire Regs etc is met
What You'll Need to Succeed
8. Third Level Degree in Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management
Preferable but not essential
9. Strong prior experience in Site Management
/ Supervisory role with a building contractor / residential developer
10. Possess strong planning / organisational skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
11. Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation
12. Ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff and subcontractors
What You'll Get in ReturnIn return for the above, you will work for a highly professional main contractor that has a pipeline of work including current projects to keep them busy for the next several years.You will have the option of either an hourly rate or salary.This can be up to €40 per hour depending on experience levels.Salaries are in the region of
€75,000 to €85,000 + either a vehicle or allowances
- some organisations are offering discretionary bonuses also.Your experience level and what you can bring to the team will dictate where you fall in that range.Companies will try and facilitate a location where possible that will be closer to home.You can grow and develop your career further with these organisations as they look to promote within. You can also expect package reviews after a 6-month period.It is a great time to join these organisations, due to expansion and project size / scale.
