Academic Nursing Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic direction of courses. As an Assistant Lecturer in General Nursing, you will play a key part in shaping the learning experience for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
* Teach assigned classes and provide academic input on existing and new courses
* Engage in research, consultancy, and development work, including assessing and evaluating examinations
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you must have:
* A relevant Honours primary degree (second class or higher) and registration with the relevant regulatory body
* Three years' postgraduate experience, preferably in Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist roles
Desirable qualifications include expertise in wound management, medication management, digital processes, and teaching methodologies.
Progression Opportunities
Assistant Lecturers will have opportunities to progress to more senior roles, subject to meeting certain criteria and demonstrating their capabilities.
