****** Details of Service Social inclusion service Dublin North and East is a regional service which works across a range of statutory services in partnership with the community and voluntary sectors, to address health inequalities and to improve access to health services for socially
disadvantaged groups.
Nurses work collaboratively with other areas in the HSE, including Mental Health Services and Primary Care Services, to improve well-being and outcomes for all individuals attending our service.
Research is a fundamental element for enhancing our understanding of the problems within social inclusion services and we aim to continue these endeavours in a multidisciplinary fashion.
The service is involved at a National level in terms of policy development and training and to disseminate best practice models as refined in our area to inform statutory, community and voluntary services across the country.
The broad scope of Social Inclusion demands involvement across a range of government departments with responsibility for driving and coordinating actions assigned to the HSE via various government and related strategies.
Similarly, Social Inclusion is required to play key roles across HSE Divisions and related programmes.
