In the role, the successful candidate will: Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirementsAnalyse existing systems, workflows, and data flows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvementProduce high‑quality functional specifications, technical specifications, data mapping, and process documentationParticipate in solution design and architecture discussions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and target architectureWork closely with developers, QA, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctlyInvestigate and triage production incidents, defects, and performance issuesIdentify and recommend enhancements that improve system performance, stability, or user experienceMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date system documentation, process maps, configuration details, and user guidesEnsure solutions comply with IT standards, security policies, data protection requirements, and financial‑services regulatory frameworksAbout youWe are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: A minimum of 5 years experience with a proven track record of working in a technically complex environmentDemonstrable achievements in managing & delivering solutions to complex business requirementsVery strong technical skills and a desire to progress to becoming a lead technical analyst/architectStrong experience in systems analysis, technical design, solutions development and deployment with a proven track record of playing a key roleAbility to maintain productive and cordial relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels of seniority across the organisationExperience in working with 3rd party system solution providersKnowledge of financial markets and particularly Wealth Management systems an advantageKnowledge of business intelligence and development tools such as Python, Power BI, SQL query skillsA proven track record of working in multi-disciplined project environmentsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills working in a pressurised environment dealing with time critical issuesAn ability to prioritise workloads and achieve critical deadlinesExperience of drafting comprehensive test scripts & use cases and executing test plansStrong facilitation and influencing skillsA relevant Third Level degree (or equivalent)Experience working with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologiesExperience working with a CRM is advantageousExperience working within the financial services industry is requiredProficiency in Business Process Mapping techniques; supporting accreditations (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN) are an advantageProject Management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP is an advantage.BenefitsWhat we offer At Davy, our people are our biggest investment.
