Healthcare Chef – Dublin 20
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Chef for a busy healthcare facility in Dublin 20.
This hands-on, fast-paced role is ideal for chefs with experience working across multiple kitchen stations, including pastry, cold kitchen, prep, and salads.
You'll prepare fresh, high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs of patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
Prepare and present nutritious meals in line with dietary guidelines
Work across multiple kitchen stations, including pastry, cold kitchen, prep, and salads
Lead or support daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality
Follow all HACCP, food safety, and hygiene protocols
Oversee stock rotation, food storage, and waste minimisation
Monitor portion control, food presentation, and allergens
Collaborate with dietitians and clinical teams on menu planning
Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant kitchen environment
Requirements
QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification
Experience in healthcare or high-volume catering, with multi-station skills
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill procedures
Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance
Ability to provide 5 years of work references
Flexible to work weekday and weekend shifts
Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
Salary & Benefits
€20.29/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays
Day shifts only, Monday to Sunday roster
