Griffith Ave Practice is a general practice based in Griffith Ave, Dublin 9.Our team consists of five doctors, one nurse, one phlebotomist, five administrative staff and a practice manager. We provide a broad range of services to the community ranging from general to acute, pre to post-natal and chronic care.We are currently seeking to recruit a part-time practice nurseThe ideal candidate would have a strong background in general practice. This is a part- time position ( 4-6 Sessions per Week) ; flexibility is important as involves early mornings .Responsibilities will include standard Practice Nurse duties such as:Vaccinations (Infant, adult, travel).Smear tests and women's health servicesChronic Disease ManagementPhlebotomyProcedures ( Suture removal)Health promotion and educationDeveloping and updating nursing protocolsThis is a part time position, at 4-6 sessions per week. We are offering a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Candidates must be a Registered General Nurse with An Bord Altranais.
