Job Role Summary
As a Shovel Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant movement of waste materials through our operational process.
* Operate Plant and Machinery to aid the safe and compliant movement of waste materials through the operational process
* Maintain daily Housekeeping of a waste transfer station & refuse derived fuel supply processing facility
* Ensure Health, safety & wellbeing of self and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with all Lock Out procedures
* Maintain Health & safety compliance for all visitors to site
* Report ALL Near Misses and any Incidents immediately to the Shift Supervisor
* Keep designated walkways and operational areas free from obstacles and debris
Once trained, you will support the Team during periods of Preventative Maintenance of all plant and equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining outstanding housekeeping standards across the facility and ensuring high-quality standards of hygiene and housekeeping in the welfare facilities.
