This role is office based, but can be located at any of our existing offices in Killarney, Limerick or Dublin. The Compliance Manager will have overall responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the company's compliance framework, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory, legal, and Central Bank requirements. The role will work closely with senior management and business stakeholders, providing independent oversight, guidance, and assurance across all regulated activities.ResponsibilitiesGovernance & FrameworkMaintain and enhance the firm's compliance framework in line with regulatory and industry standards.Monitor, interpret, and communicate relevant Irish and EU regulatory developments.Monitoring & OversightConduct regular and ad-hoc reviews of client files, across all branches, including the independent assessment of regulated advice and supporting documentation.Ensure advisory processes and documentation comply with Central Bank Codes of Conduct and internal policies.AML / CFTReview client files to ensure AML/KYC compliance, including due diligence and documentation requirements.Design and deliver AML/CFT and fraud awareness training, including tracking and reporting completion.Act as the company's designated point of contact for AML/CFT matters, where applicable.Advisory & SupportAct as a key point of contact for compliance-related queries and due diligence requests.Provide targeted compliance training and guidance to specific teams as required.People & ConductManage Fitness & Probity and Minimum Competency Code (MCC) requirements for new and existing staff.Oversee complaints handling processes, including investigation, escalation, and resolution, in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.The Ideal CandidateMinimum 2–3 years' experience in the Financial Services Sector (required).Proven experience in a Compliance Manager or senior compliance role within the financial services sector (required).Holds, or is working towards, a relevant compliance or regulatory qualification (required).Strong knowledge of Irish and EU financial services regulation, including AML/CFT, Fitness & Probity, MCC, and Central Bank Codes of Conduct.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines independently.Clear and confident communicator, with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements in a practical and accessible manner.Comfortable working with senior stakeholders across the business and influencing change where required.Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with compliance systems and reporting tools.What We OfferCompetitive salary aligned with experience and industry standards.Competitive pension scheme with employer contributionsA supportive, professional work environment with a focus on collaboration and service quality.Ongoing training, continued professional development, and opportunities for long-term career progression within the firm.Gallivan Financial is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to an inclusive workplace that values diverse perspectives and experiences.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company pensionApplication question(s):Are you located in a commutable distance of Killarney, Limerick or Dublin?Experience:Compliance: 2 years (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
