Cost Management Career Opportunity
The role of a Cost Manager is to manage the 'day to day' operations of projects. This involves working closely with the Senior Cost Manager to ensure the smooth running of projects and providing expert advice to clients and design teams on procurement, cost, value, and risk management.
A key responsibility of this role is to assist in feasibility studies, write procurement reports, estimate and cost plan, produce quantities, and tender for projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing post-contract cost variances, change control processes, making cost checks, carrying out valuations, producing monthly post-contract cost reports, negotiating final accounts, and interfacing with clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

We are looking for a proactive individual who can work effectively in a team environment and has good reporting and communication skills. Computer literacy is also essential for this role.
The successful candidate will have a degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management and experience of working on various project types, sizes, and sectors. They will also have knowledge of standard forms of contract, such as RIAI and GCCC, and excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
