Manufacturing Specialist Job Description
This role is responsible for ensuring that production meets all quality standards by maintaining and monitoring resources, adhering to the build schedule, and coordinating with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble products in line with company needs and ensure the quality of builds.
* Investigate process problems, abnormalities, or defects, take corrective action, and provide documentation.
* Work with Operations Line Lead to ensure product release time goals are met.
* Perform inspections, tests, and audits on supplier components.
* Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure products meet requirements.
* Assist with process/equipment validation and data analysis.
* Aware of best practices and processes utilizing current management tools.
* Demonstrate teamwork, including completing co-workers' tasks where required.
* Assist in drafting SOPs and ensure all SOPs and standards are followed.
* In compliance with established procedures, complete tracking, inventory, processing, and safety documentation.
* Oversee WIP and stock inventories.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* A minimum leaving certificate with ideally 1–2 years medical device experience.
* Familiarity with microscope usage and catheter experience.
* The ability to read, understand, and apply information contained in written procedures and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs).
* Knowledge of and ability to perform all jobs within area of oversight.
