We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing international fintech business seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to join their finance function on an initial 6-month FTC.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and enjoys operating in a hands-on, high-impact role.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting global finance operations, managing group consolidations, overseeing reporting processes, and driving financial control across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage group finance operations including controllership, reporting, cashflow management, payroll oversight, and financial analysis
Lead consolidated month-end and period-end close activities
Oversee audit processes across group entities and coordinate with external auditors
Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
Partner with senior leadership and divisional finance teams to provide strategic financial insight
Support the enhancement of financial controls, governance, and risk management frameworks
Candidate Profile
Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)
5+ years PQE within a Group Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
Strong consolidations and group reporting experience is essential
Proven ability to influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams
Experience operating within a large or complex corporate environment
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a changing environment
