Product Validation Engineer
****** Desired skills: Validation, Test, Electronics, IOT Reperio has partnered with a well-established and innovative electronics manufacturer in Shannon that's seeking an experienced Product Validation Engineer to join their on-site R&D team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in hands-on electronics testing and a passion for product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.This lab-based engineering role supports new product development through rigorous validation of both hardware and software components.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure new IoT and life-safety devices meet high performance, safety, and compliance standards before release to market.Responsibilities:Perform end-to-end validation of electronic and IoT-based products, including RF modules, gateways, apps, and cloud systemsAssemble prototypes and carry out key tests including ESD, surge, and transient testingCollaborate with design teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesCreate and execute test plans, document test results, and generate clear technical reportsSupport internal QA processes and contribute to technical documentationRequirements:2+ years' hands-on experience validating electronic products (hardware/software), ideally in IoT, safety-critical or consumer electronicsStrong understanding of electronics principles with the ability to read and interpret schematicsProficient in the use of electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, Skilled in soldering and rework, including surface-mount componentsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and task management skillsQualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experienceDesirable:Familiarity with automated QA tools (., LabView, Selenium)Experience working with mains-powered productsExposure to defect tracking tools (., Jira)ISTQB or similar QA certificationsBenefits:Competitive salary with bonus potentialPrivate healthcare benefitsOngoing training and professional developmentModern R&D lab environment and toolsTechnically strong and supportive team cultureNote: This is a fully on-site position based in Shannon, Co.
