Senior Embedded Software Engineer Position
Chipright seeks a highly motivated individual to be a leading member of a team developing a next-generation in-vitro diagnostics point of care reader.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop embedded software and firmware for point of care solutions, including control systems for electronic, photonic, incubation, and motor sub-modules.
* 5+ years' experience coding in C/C++ ideally with platforms such as Beaglebone, Raspberry Pi, or others.
* Familiarity with communication protocols such as USB, I2C, SPI, and UART.
* Experience with Linux Operating Systems and source control tools like git and syn.
* Ability to debug software, firmware, and hardware systems using debug tools and lab instruments.
* Familiarity with Qt, Matlab, and LabVIEW for UI development and data analysis.
* Degree-level education with excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Exposure to motors and motor controllers.
* Good understanding of biostatistics and statistical analysis tools.
* Familiarity with ISO13485 is an advantage.
A team player with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and excellent oral and written communication skills.
