The Hospital is inviting applications for the following post:
CNMS Neonatal Lactation Support Intending applicants should submit a completed application form along with an updated Curriculum Vitae, and letter of application to > before the closing date of 5pm on Wednesday, 8th April ****. Essential: Be registered in the General, Midwives and/or Children's Division of the register of Nurses and Midwives.
Achieved a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), major academic Level 8 award, or higher relevant to the specialist are of Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing prior to application.
Be an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant.
Evidence of continuous professional development including completion of BLS, NRP, Preceptorship and 20-hour Breastfeeding.
5years post registration.
A minimum of 2 years' full time (or an aggregate of 2 years full time experience) experience in a Level 3 Unit.
Experience in looking after infants from 23 weeks gestation upwards.
Have the ability to practice safely and effectively fulfilling his/her professional responsibility within his/her scope of practice.
Responsible for own Continuing Professional Development.
