Site Engineer Residential (Waterford) A Site Engineer is required for a leading residential developer working on a major 120+ unit housing development in South East, Waterford. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with residential experience to join a growing team and contribute to a long-term, high-quality housing project from its very start. The successful candidate will support the site management team in surveying, quality control, and day-to-day site coordination, ensuring that works are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Duties: Carry out setting out, levelling, and surveying using GPS, total stations, and related equipment. Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building regulations. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors, and design teams to maintain smooth project delivery. Maintain daily site records, progress reports, and quality checks. Assist with planning, scheduling, and sequencing of site activities. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Support management of materials, site logistics, and subcontractor activities. Resolve technical queries and contribute to problem-solving on site. Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline. 24 years experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on residential or housing developments. Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and site coordination. Proficient in setting out equipment, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively within a site management team and manage multiple priorities. Proactive and solution-oriented approach to site delivery. Salary & Benefits: Salary circa €5565k, depending on experience. Excellent benefits package, including a commercial van.
