Job Summary:
As a Seasonal Deli Assistant, you'll support the deli team in preparing, presenting, and serving high-quality food products to our customers. You'll ensure excellent service, maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, and contribute to a joyful and efficient festive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve customers politely and efficiently, offering advice and product recommendations where needed.
* Prepare, slice, and package deli products such as meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation at all times.
* Keep deli displays well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
* Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and inventory control.
* Operate tills and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
* Support team members during busy periods and help create a positive, festive atmosphere.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Previous experience in a deli, café, or food service environment.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts during the festive period.

Working Conditions:
