Location: Dundalk and Drogheda Position:Grade III Clerical Officer Hours:Full time 35 hours per week Pay:€17.31 - €26.79depending on previous relevant verified public sector experience Contract: 3-month initial contract Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office team Answer telephone calls, take messages, and respond to enquiries professionally Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and post Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and databases Schedule appointments, meetings, and organise diaries where required Prepare, format, and process documents, reports, and spreadsheets Perform data entry duties with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Assist with reception duties and greet visitors in a professional manner Support day-to-day office operations to ensure efficient workflow Handle confidential information in accordance with company policies Liaise with internal departments, clients, and external stakeholders as required Carry out additional administrative duties as assigned Essential Criteria Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment Professional and approachable manner Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong data entry and record management skills Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards Experience handling confidential or sensitive information Good interpersonal and customer service skills Please apply with your updated CV at your earliest convenience.
