Post Summary: The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies invites applications from candidates with excellent research and teaching potential for the position of Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities. This is a 5-year fixed-term, tenure-track, full-time position.
The successful candidate will hold a doctorate at the time of application (ABD candidates will NOT be considered). Expertise in digital humanities, especially in computational methods, digital storytelling, or digital cultural heritage, is required. The role involves curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including designing new modules and contributing to digital humanities developments.
Closing Date: 12 Noon Irish time, 28th July 2025
Post status: Tenure Track, initially 5 years, with potential permanency upon meeting tenure requirements.

Salary: Lecturer Full Salary Scale (€42,500-€101,541 per annum), based on government pay policy.
