My client is a highly regarded aircraft leasing business looking to appoint a Compliance Manager to lead day-to-day regulatory compliance and governance activity in Ireland. The firm operates in a fast-paced environment and this hire will take a hands-on role in strengthening the compliance framework, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory obligations are met as the platform continues to develop.
This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys operating with autonomy, has strong technical understanding of Irish regulation, and can work confidently with senior decision-makers.
Responsibilities
* Own the implementation and ongoing management of Irish compliance obligations across the business
* Develop, update and enhance compliance policies, procedures and internal controls
* Manage interaction with the Central Bank of Ireland, including submissions, notifications and regulatory correspondence
* Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory matters, ensuring compliance is considered in commercial and operational decisions
* Support governance processes, reporting and oversight across the platform
* Work closely with a US-based investment adviser to align cross-border compliance requirements and best practice standards
Requirements
* 5–10+ years' experience in compliance, regulatory risk, or governance within financial services
* Strong knowledge of Irish regulatory requirements, including exposure to CBI, MiFID and/or AIFM frameworks
* Comfortable operating independently and managing multiple priorities in a lean structure
* Confident engaging senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes through clear, practical advice
