AI Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote)
Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension)
Role Overview
My client, a Global Insurance Firm is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable, production-ready AI systems that drive automation, insights, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and deploy AI models and solutions for production environments
2. Build and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, and deployment
3. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into applications
4. Monitor model performance, retrain models, and optimize AI systems for reliability and scalability
5. Implement best practices in model governance, testing, and versioning
6. Conduct data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation
7. Document solutions and share knowledge with team members
Key Requirements
8. Proven experience as an AI Engineer or in a similar role
9. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent
10. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn,
11. Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, GCP AI Platform)
12. Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, and databases (SQL/noSQL)
13. Experience with AI deployment, monitoring, and optimization
14. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
