Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
2. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
3. Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
4. Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
5. Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
6. Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customer service standards
7. Contribute to and maintain good relationships with suppliers
8. Meet compliance at all times
9. Maintain network communications, respond promptly to emails and requests
10. Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
11. Understand customer procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs
Qualifications
* 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Understanding of ocean documentation process is a plus
* Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
* Proactive, strong organizational skills
* Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
* Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
* Fluent in English
