About the Role
The Person In Charge has overall responsibility for ensuring the effective provision and operation of person-centred services to adults and children in designated centres.
This involves leading clinical practice, supervising nursing and support teams, and maintaining relevant records in accordance with legislation and HIQA requirements.
In addition, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of nursing standards, protocols, and guidelines consistent with the highest standards of care.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve service objectives.
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, guidelines, and safety statements.
Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the designated centre operates in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role within the health or social care sector.
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligibility to register.
* A relevant management qualification.
* Demonstrated evidence of continuous professional development.
* High standard of suitability, clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the role effectively.
