The 5* InterContinental Dublin are currently recruiting forFull Time Bartenders to join our team.
The InterContinental Dublin (part of the MHL Hotel Collection) is located in the leafy suburbs of Ballsbridge, within close proximity to the RDS, Aviva Stadium and is on a frequently serviced bus & DART line.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Present guests with the appropriate menu, advising on availability and taking orders accurately.
* Serve orders in a professional manner, returning to ensure guest satisfaction or additional requirements at least once during the service.
* Monitor all guests in the bar, being vigilant for any indication that guests require assistance.
* Clear tables as they are emptied and maintain a high standard of cleanliness of equipment, including trolleys and cloths etc.
·Demonstrate through knowledge and ability, the execution of the service steps (i.e. greeting the guest(s), taking their order, serving of food, wine etc. during operating hours).
·Offer service all guests in a manner which exceeds expectations.
·Have a good knowledge of the wine and beverages served in Banquets and also the Lobby Lounge, Lobby Bar and Reading Room Restaurant.
·Be vigilantly attentive to service details and product quality.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working as a bartender
* Ability to work under pressure within a busy and demanding luxury hotel environment
* Good English language skills
* A cheerful personality with effective customer care awareness
* Both mid-week, weekends and shift work is required based on business levels
