Great National Group is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join the Digital Marketing team in the Head Office in Ennis.About the RoleA blend of strategic, analytical, and creative thinking is required to oversee the company's and individual hotels' own-brand digital strategy.This role will partner with Stakeholders, Business Operations, Heads of Department, and cross-functional teams to help define, build, prioritise, and optimise the best possible experience for our clients and their customers.You will also assist in delivering group-level brand campaigns and initiatives where required, ensuring alignment across all departments and channels.As well as the skills you bring directly as a member of staff, you will be expected and welcomed to contribute ideas and methods for developing the company as an integral part of your involvement with the organisation.

Great National Group facilitates and encourages hybrid remote working.Main ResponsibilitiesLead the Digital Marketing Team, ensuring a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative environment that promotes ownership and growth.Manage the day-to-day operations of the Digital Department, including assigning tasks to the Digital Marketing Executives to ensure timely completion in line with company best practices.Develop and execute own-brand digital strategies tailored to individual client hotels and aligned with the broader GN company objectives.Build and maintain client relationships by hosting regular digital review calls, analysing performance reports in advance, and forward planning to improve website traffic, conversions, and user experience.Work closely with the company's website and booking engine partner on digital strategy development and execution for both individual clients and group-level initiatives.Collaborate across departments and support the execution of integrated brand campaigns to ensure consistency and maximise impact across all touchpoints.Explore and implement creative solutions to improve efficiency, leveraging new technologies and tools, including AI-based innovations for content creation, customer engagement, ad targeting, reporting, and automation.Proactively plan and implement engaging content for hotel websites, ensuring alignment with brand tone and seasonal promotions.Manage and maintain a content calendar for group-wide digital content, including website, social media, and campaign channels.Oversee GN Group social media channels, ensuring relevant and timely content is shared across platforms to support brand positioning and engagement.Assist clients with digital content strategies and the setup, execution, and reporting of social media advertising campaigns.Take the lead in web build planning and digital campaign execution, including Design, Display, Video, and Social.Take accountability for digital budgets, including PPC spend, ensuring budget effectiveness and return on investment.Use website and campaign analytics to drive data-led decisions that improve performance KPIs such as traffic, engagement, booking conversion, bounce rate, and revenue.Foster collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Revenue, and Operations to ensure alignment and maximise digital effectiveness.Support ad hoc marketing and digital projects that align with departmental and business goals.Experience RequiredCertificate or Diploma in Digital Marketing (degree an advantage).Proven experience managing and leading a digital marketing team.Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimisation and performance marketing.Proficiency in Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and related tools.Familiarity with AI tools and platforms relevant to digital marketing (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Canva AI, ad automation tools, etc.
