The Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Occupational Therapist for a Specific Purpose Contract to join our dedicated and collaborative team, providing exceptional care to specialist palliative care patients. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver holistic physiotherapy services that address the complex physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of our patients.
The Senior Occupational Therapist will work in conjunction with the Occupational Therapist Manager in ensuring the coordination, development and delivery of a quality, client-centred Occupational Therapy Service to meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation. The Senior Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of a high standard Occupational Therapy service in the Specialist Palliative Care Service and will carry out clinical and educational duties as assigned by the Occupational Therapist Manager. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed applications for the post
* Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Have three years full time (or an aggregrate of three years) post qualification clinical experience.
* Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORUbefore a contract of employment can be issued.
*This contract is for a specific purpose, namely to provide cover during maternity leave.*
