Delivering Quality Care in Residential Settings
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team in providing person-centred care to adults with intellectual disabilities. This is a full-time, permanent role that involves delivering high-quality care to service users.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on dignity, inclusion, independence, and quality of life for each service user.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement individualised support plans promoting independence and inclusion
* Provide daily living assistance including personal care, household tasks, and community activities
* Promote physical, emotional, and social wellbeing for service users
* Maintain accurate documentation including care plans, incident reports, and financial records
* Support access to community services and the development of self-advocacy skills
* Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals
* Adhere to relevant regulations, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety guidelines
Essential Criteria - Social Care Worker:
* Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care or related discipline or Current CORU registration
* Previous experience in residential or day service settings is desirable
* Ability to support care planning and contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork
