Alliance Medical are currently recruiting an Administration Supervisor to join our MRI team in Galway. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing, compassionate team providing vital diagnostic imaging services for patients.

Working hours: 37.5 hrs per week

* To lead the wider team of medical administrators who provide support to the Department.
* To provide the department with all essential administration, thereby enabling them to meet customer expectations.
* To provide professional customer service at all times as the first point of contact.
* To ensure that all administrative processes and procedures are streamlined so that the clinical staff can concentrate on their role and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the management of an engaged and motivated team effectively utilising internal resources and supports including induction, buddy system, performance management, delegation, career development, one-to-ones and training.
* Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and training plans for the team.
* Recommend new processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
* Reception duties – telephone messages, faxes and queries and deal with them efficiently and to make all bookings.
* Handle and resolve complaints.
* Record and maintain training competency checklists/training plans for new starters during training until all training is complete.
* Manage administrative staff roster and annual leave requests.
* Organise weekly and month staff meetings, compile minutes and agendas.
* Ensure all administrative processes are documented correctly & ensure duties are performed as required with the correct frequency.
