Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Projects Manager to lead and deliver successful outcomes in a diverse portfolio of capital improvement projects and operational projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, with expertise in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
The role involves coordinating project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Additionally, the job holder will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a centralized data room for storing and accessing key engineering drawings, surveys, and other technical documentation.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with architects, designers, contractors, and external stakeholders. They will also possess a high level of drive and energy, with a strong focus on delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage Opex and selected Capex projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, operational efficiency, and passenger experience
* Coordinate project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
* Establish and maintain a centralized digital data room to store and manage key engineering documentation such as drawings, surveys, reports, and project records
* Implement systems and processes for efficient data retrieval and ensure compliance with data security
* Adhere to public procurement guidelines, ensuring compliance and competitive procedures are followed
* Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory audits and inspections
Requirements:
* A recognized qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related field to bachelor's degree level
* Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a team leadership or managerial role
* Knowledge of aviation and airport environment would be an advantage
* Must have experience of project management
* Skilled user of engineering software, project management tools (AutoCAD etc), MS Office and BIM System
* Excellent leadership and communication and organizational skills
* Possess a high level of drive and energy and the ability to make things happen
