Job Summary
Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with a passion for mobile gaming analytics and player behavior research. The successful candidate will leverage advanced statistical methods, machine learning models, and data-driven insights to understand player engagement, retention, monetization patterns, and overall game performance. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of mobile games by providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams including product management, game design, marketing, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze large-scale gaming data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for player engagement and monetization.
Develop and deploy predictive models to forecast player retention, lifetime value, churn, and in-game behavior.
Collaborate with game designers, product managers, and marketing teams to design experiments (A/B tests) and evaluate the impact of new game features or campaigns.
Build interactive dashboards and data visualizations to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Conduct cohort analysis, segmentation, and player profiling to support personalized gaming experiences.
Optimize in-game reward systems, progression mechanics, and monetization strategies through data-driven recommendations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies in data science and gaming analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
Experience with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and predictive modeling.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly.
Strong statistical foundation: hypothesis testing, regression analysis, clustering, and predictive modeling.
Familiarity with mobile gaming metrics and KPIs (DAU, MAU, ARPU, retention rates, churn).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Experience

3–5 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
Previous experience in gaming analytics or consumer behavior analysis is highly preferred.
Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions that impact business decisions.

Working Hours

Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
Flexible work hours and remote work options available depending on business needs.
