We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a busy builders' merchant store in Cork. The role requires strong leadership skills, experience in retail management, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while ensuring smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise and support day-to-day store operations, ensuring an efficient and customer-focused environment.
2. Lead, motivate, and develop a small team to achieve sales, service, and operational targets.
3. Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring inventory to meet customer demand.
4. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures.
5. Provide hands-on support in serving customers, offering advice, and resolving queries effectively.
6. Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliations, and store administration tasks.
7. Contribute to store merchandising and layout to optimise customer experience and sales.
