Fire Safety Engineering Expert Witness
Jensen Hughes is seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to join our team as a Fire Safety Engineering Expert Witness. As a key member of our litigation team, you will provide impartial and evidence-based analysis and testimony in construction and legal disputes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fire safety design, including cladding and site experience, with knowledge of relevant fire safety design codes. You will also be chartered or working towards chartership as a professional engineer.
Job Overview:
* We are looking for experts who can conduct thorough investigations into building fires to determine their causes.
You must be able to analyze data from various sources such as witness statements, expert reports, maintenance records,
maintenance manuals, video footage, and physical inspections.To perform the job tasks effectively,you need strong technical skills,natural science understanding,evidence handling capability along with high-levels dispute resolution expertise.Design your own strategy based on case facts pointing any directions toward root cause identified through comprehensive investigation phases.Take responsibility by engaging all main parties while being meticulous about coordinating investigative process thus undertaking critical path timelines where necessary.At final stage present coherent opinion-backed judgement whether liability should ultimately rest upon either contracting party.Work extensively at well-equipped sites ensuring we maintain punctual daily/weekly updates.
