Financial Services Specialist Role
Key Responsibilities:
* We expect you to build strong relationships with customers and understand their financial needs to provide tailored solutions.
* You will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability of income from finance, warranty, and credit protection insurance products.
Responsibilities include:
* Qualifying customer requirements through discussion and gauging reactions to alternative options.
* Demonstrating suitable options to customers and adapting to their buying strategies.
* Agreeing sale details, checking credit status, and proposing finance providers in line with company policies.
* Establishing vehicle purchase or rental details and working with customers to identify appropriate finance, warranty, or insurance packages.
* Producing and explaining finance quotes, maximizing commission while meeting customer needs.
* Agreeing payment methods and completing administration in accordance with provider policy and legislation.
* Managing performance to achieve key targets and deliver continuous improvement.
* Monitoring own performance against agreed sales targets and working with Group Operations Manager to review progress and develop action plans.
* Collaborating with colleagues and other teams across locations to provide a seamless service to customers.
* Ensuring opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist.
* Understanding GDPR implications.
Skill Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is highly desirable. QFA qualification is not essential but preferred.
* Strong communication skills with customers, colleagues, finance providers, and manufacturers are required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Email) is necessary.
* Experience of using Kerridge (CRM System) is desirable but not essential.
* Competence on sales volumes and margins on finance and credit protection insurance products is expected.
* Ability to prospect effectively and manage deals from start to finish.
* Possess strong attention to detail with administrative functions.
* Time Management skills - work independently in a busy environment managing own time and workflow.
* Strong problem-solving ability to identify and resolve queries in a professional manner.
* Present a professional image to both internal and external customers through attitude, behaviour, and personal appearance.
* Fully qualified drivers license is required.
