Barden is thrilled to be working with our client who is a leader in the wholesale and retail industry, to identify a Business Change Manager to lead transformative initiatives within their organisation. This is an 18 month contract opportunity with the flexibility to be based in either their Cork or Dublin offices on a hybrid basis.

You will have the capabilities to develop clear visions for change aligning to the business needs and goals. ABOUT THE ROLE:
* Develop and apply structured approaches to guide transitions and embed new ways of working across the organisation.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery aligns with broader strategic goals and cultural priorities.
* Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless rollout and acceptance of key initiatives.
* Create and manage detailed implementation plans, particularly focused on the human and operational aspects of change, while balancing scope, time, cost, and risk.
* Use data-driven insights to highlight inefficiencies, uncover improvement opportunities, and inform decision-making.
* Assess current workflows to pinpoint optimisation opportunities, and design future-state processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
* Deliver training and hands-on support to help teams successfully transition to new systems, tools, and ways of working.
* Ensure complete documentation of process changes, decision rationale, and performance outcomes.
* Continuously scan for areas of improvement, promoting innovation and operational excellence within transformation initiatives.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* Degree-level qualification in Business, Management, or a similar discipline.
* Demonstrated experience leading transformation programmes or business change initiatives, ideally in a retail or consumer-facing environment.
* Deep knowledge of change delivery frameworks and structured change methodologies.
* Strong capabilities in leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
* Proven track record of managing competing priorities and delivering results in dynamic, high-pressure settings.
* Skilled in using digital tools and platforms to support effective project planning and execution.
