MTM Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join us in our Head Office in Slane.
The Role...
The successful candidate will be part of the MTM Engineering Team working closely with Design, Estimating and Operations, involved in large scale project delivery from conception to handover. The role will be based in one of our offices in Armagh or Slane.

Our expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more.
Responsibilities...
1. Work directly with client and project managers to review technical specifications and offer the best solutions.
2. Prepare detailed electrical designs and drawings of design solutions for bespoke electrical containment solutions, cable route design and related components.
3. Troubleshoot and design where necessary to accommodate other services/systems.
4. Extract measurements from BIM model (Revit/Navisworks).
5. Use of BIM modelling software to review site requirements and identify issues.
6. Develop and review Electrical design with the design team and client for full scope of works on the various projects.
7. Prepare plans, schedules, cost estimates, and bid documents to support tender packages and submissions, assess technical data to determine their compliance with a contract specification, and any specific actions or issues which might need to be resolved or clarified.
8. Complete technical submittals, equipment registers and trackers.
9. Issue and track technical submittal documents to obtain material approvals.
10. Continuous Design & Installation Quality Checks and Control.
11. Uphold the Electrical design standards within the organisation.
12. Set up standards and templates to streamline processes.
The Person...
1. Experience desirable in HV, MV and LV, protection circuits, grid connections, HV and LV switchgear, substations.
2. Proactive and methodically minded.
3. Understanding of tendering, technical submittals and procurement.
