Ambu is seeking a Territory Manager to be located in Ireland, preferably in or near Dublin.
Your responsibilities will include promoting and selling the company's single-use Anaesthesia & Patient Monitoring product range in both acute and non-acute clinical environments across public hospitals (HSE Ireland) and the private healthcare sector while collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders, such as Procurement, Neurophysiology, Operating Theatres, Cardiology, Resus Departments, Anaesthetic Departments, and Clinical Directors.
It is essential for you to comprehend the key factors and trends impacting the HSE and to engage effectively with all levels of clinical and management personnel. A solid understanding of the current macro and micro-environment is crucial. In this role, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Sales Target - Deliver the territory target
* Be competent in Qualifying opportunities, identifying customer needs and all relevant buying influences and decision makers
* Effectively demonstrate key features and benefits of A&PM product ranges to all clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
* Convey compelling health-economic arguments to stakeholders beyond clinical areas (procurement, finance etc.) using internal technical data and information
* Form strong and close relationships with customers to grow the business within existing accounts
* Keep the CRM system and other reporting mechanisms up to date to record customer activity and opportunity
* Manage own pipeline in the CRM reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, A&PM
* Gather market intelligence and disseminate throughout the organisation
* Prepare effective presentations
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:
* Have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a commercial environment e.g. Sales, Account Management
* Are a self-starter, able to work on their own and use their own initiative
* Demonstrate ability to influence and build relationships at all levels within the healthcare system
* Carry a proven success in achieving sales targets and driving territory growth
* Are able to convey technical details and supporting evidence to a broad spectrum of personnel
* Demonstrate commercial credibility - including price/value discussions
* Are able to engage with all levels of clinical and management staff
* Effectively plan & prepare for customer meetings with clear objectives and engage positively with all customers
* Research and identify critical/topical issues affecting key customers
* Have a full, clean driving license and the flexibility to travel domestically and internationally to attend conferences and sales meetings
* Have experience in medical device sales, preferably within anaesthesia, patient monitoring, or critical care
* Have an existing network within Irish healthcare, particularly within Anaesthesia, Critical Care, or Operating Theatres
* Carry excellent administration skills, highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a diverse customer base across Ireland
