Candidates will contribute to enriching the lives of those we support. The Person in Charge will provide leadership and management to support the delivery of duties within the centre daily in line with regulations.
This includes ensuring personal plans, risk assessments, and behavioural support plans are up-to-date and services are delivered to the highest possible quality and safety standards.
The Person in Charge provides the highest quality of care and support to service users, meeting regulation compliance in accordance with Health Act 2007 (Care and Support of Residents in Designated Centres for Persons (Children and Adults; with Disabilities) Regulations 2013).
They manage the staff team, coordinating input from other individuals as required, and provide mentorship and leadership to the team daily. Formal supervisions, appraisals, and monthly team meetings take place under the control and supervision of the Person in Charge.
The Person in Charge oversees the service across shifts to ensure effective and efficient services are delivered within the centre, maintaining the highest level of infection control standards as directed by company policy and national best practice guidance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills are essential to lead and motivate the team effectively.
* Qualification: A degree in a health or social-related field at Level 7/8 or equivalent qualification with a management qualification in healthcare.
* Experience: At least three years' managerial experience in a similar health or social care setting.
