Job SummaryThe Housekeeping and Laundry Staff member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene throughout the facility. This role ensures residents bed rooms, common areas, and linens are cleaned, laundered, and presented to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities Housekeeping DutiesClean and sanitize residents bed rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.replace towels and amenities as needed.Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces.Empty trash, recycling, and replace liners.Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure housekeeping carts are organized.Follow cleaning checklists and safety protocols.Laundry DutiesSort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and clothing as required.Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.Inspect linens for wear and tear and report damaged items.Keep laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards.Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request restocking when needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is an asset but not required.Ability to understand and follow instructions.Good physical stamina; able to lift, carry, and bendStrong attention to detail and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Work EnvironmentNursing home settingMay require weekend, evening, or holiday shifts.Key CompetenciesReliability and punctualityCustomer service orientationTeamworkEfficiency and organizationIntegrity and confidentialityJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: €13.78-€14.00 per hourExpected hours: 24 – 36 per weekBenefits:FlexitimeOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
