Clean, reliable, and scalable master data sits at the foundation of Chanelle's transformational ambitions.
The Master Data Lead will be the owner and operator of master data across the business, responsible for establishing the processes, standards, and day-to-day rigor needed to fix the baseline and enable long-term growth.
This role is hands-on and detail intensive.
It requires strong operational execution paired with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Success will directly determine data readiness for SAP S/4HANA, operational efficiency, and future enterprise value creation.

As our Master Data Lead, your key responsibilities will be as follows:
ERP Program Responsibilities (SAP S/4HANA)
Lead the end-to-end Master Data workstream within the SAP S/4HANA program.
Define, implement, and enforce master data standards and governance rules across functions.
Champion data governance across organization by promoting awareness, accountability, and adherence to defined standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external ERP partners to build master data models, processes, and templates.
Develop workflows for data creation, approvals, changes, and tracking.
Execute large-scale ETL activities, ensuring accuracy and readiness for cutover.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure master data aligns with ERP design.
Document data definitions, processes, and SOPs for the new S/4HANA environment.
Master Data Operations
Create, update, and maintain SAP master data objects, including:
Finished Goods, Semi-Finished, Raw Materials, Packaging
Indirect Materials & Services
BOMs, Routings, Production Versions, Inspection Plans
Source Lists, Purchase Info Records (PIRs)
Customer/Vendor (Business Partner) records
Pricing data (List Prices, Transfer Pricing)
Validate data requests for completeness and accuracy prior to execution.
Operate master data processes across SAP, SharePoint, and QMS.
Troubleshoot data issues and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve them.
Escalate recurring issues or structural gaps.
Measure data quality, build KPIs, and report performance trends.
Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen master data processes.
Deliver training and guidance to business users on data standards and SOPs.
Act as the primary point of contact for all master data queries and operational support.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
3–7 years in Master Data, Data Governance, or related operational roles.
Experience in a manufacturing environment (pharma preferred).
Operational familiarity with SAP (strong plus for S/4HANA exposure).
Hands-on capability managing high-volume, detail-heavy data processes.
Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, production master data, procurement, and business partner data.
Ability to influence without authority and work effectively across functions.
Structured, reliable, and process-driven operator with strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
Experience participating in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
Experience in regulated manufacturing industries (pharma, medtech, food).
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and continuous improvement tools.
