Lead M&A Transactions Strategist
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead end-to-end M&A transactions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing sell-side mandates, identifying target buyers, preparing information memoranda, and negotiating commercial terms.
The Role
As a Lead M&A Transactions Strategist, you will work closely with clients to structure and negotiate successful transactions, build and maintain strong relationships, and supervise and mentor junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
* Originate, lead, and manage M&A transactions
* Work effectively as a team member by sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior members on progress
* Understand client requirements, co-develop approach with client, and provide value through insights, factual conclusions, and advice
* Anticipate and identify risks that require escalation and escalate to more senior staff as appropriate
* Support and drive deal origination and sector insight initiatives by identifying and analyzing business development opportunities
Requirements
Suitable candidates will have relevant analytical or financial qualifications, strong commercial experience, and/or relevant industry experience. They should possess an analytical approach coupled with strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills (oral and written), IT skills (advanced level in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), effective time management, and ability to keep calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
