Assistant Designer Site Representative (DSR) for the Liffey Valley to City Centre Bus Connects scheme, which has recently been awarded to GMC. CCC will be responsible for the design and supervision of construction of the works as part of a joint venture with design partners ROD.The project will start construction in January 2026 and will run for approximately the next 3 years. This opportunity offers the right candidate the chance to have a high-profile role on a major infrastructure project in Ireland, followed by potential positions on future projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Senior Designer's Site Representative in their dutiesCarrying out daily site inspections and keeping of daily site diariesPreparing and Issuing Designer's Site ChangesReviewing and approving materials submissions from the ContractorReviewing of the Contractor's method statementsReviewing and approving inspection and test plansReviewing testing records for complianceRaising and closing non-compliance reportsAdvising the designer of any design defects notedEnsure construction is carried out in accordance with the Works Requirements and ContractLiaise with the design team on any design related mattersCollect information for the production of as-built drawingsRepresenting the designer at site meetings and managing technical queriesSkills / QualificationsDegree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualificationMin. 2 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering projectsExperience working as a Designer's Site Representative or Resident Engineer on infrastructure projectsExcellent communication, management and organisational skills requiredExperience working and co-ordinating with technical specialists and engineersKey requirements include efficient work methods, functioning both as part of team and on own initiativeExperience organizing and delivering complex tasks involving multiple parties within a short timeframeAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
