Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and ensuring that all areas are audit ready from a facilities point of view. This includes routine repairs and maintenance tasks, as well as deep cleaning routines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and repairs to the fabric and of the Bakery facilities.
* Ensure that all areas are audit ready from a facilities point of view.
* Work closely with all other departments' personnel to understand issues and to ensure timely and right first time closeout of same.
* Work with Quality and Hygiene teams on audit/visit preparation and deep cleaning routines.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Delivering on improvement projects in conjunction with fellow facilities Maintenance Technicians
* Facilitation of deep cleaning activities as instructed by Quality and Hygiene manager
* Closing out tasks like repairs and maintenance to guarding in conjunction with Maintenance Department and H&S Manager
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Facilities Maintenance role, ideally from a Trades background. They will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must be proactive, self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Some exposure and experience on computers is required, minimum MS office use. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to be flexible and work under pressure as well as having the ability to achieve results on their own initiative.
Strong task management skills and the ability to plan the order of work in line with business needs is also essential.
