 
        
        Project Manager: Quantity Surveyor
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a background in Quantity Surveying to join our team.
This role involves overseeing tendering major projects across Ireland, working on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, and Healthcare projects.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Tender for construction contracts and manage procurement of subcontractors and materials.
 * Manage project costs and budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
 * Prepare valuations, cost reports, and financial updates throughout project lifecycles.
 * Support improvements in commercial processes and overall project profitability.
 * Manage subcontractor payments and ensure final accounts are agreed.
 * Handle project correspondence and resolve contractual issues.
 * Maintain strong client relationships and provide commercial support to project teams.
 * Assist with project planning and cost estimation for new projects.
Requirements:
 * A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is advantageous but not essential.
 * Minimum of 1 year's experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the building or construction sector.
 * Strong understanding of core quantity surveying principles and project cost control.
 * High attention to detail with solid operational and commercial awareness.
 * Good presentation and general management skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and team members.
 * Excellent written communication and negotiation skills to achieve favourable commercial outcomes.
 * Proven ability to multitask and manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects concurrently.
