HireForce has a very exciting opportunity to join the finance team of a world-renowned Irish Plc in Dublin as a Group Financial Accountant. This client is a global leader in their industry and is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to play a key role in the Groups finance team. In this role, the successful candidate will be a key member of a high-profile team across the Group and will liaise with the finance teams in each of their divisions. Responsibilities include the following: Collaborate with business units throughout the reporting cycle, providing guidance and reviewing their submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements, including conducting technical reviews to ensure alignment with all applicable reporting and audit standards. Contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting processes, particularly in response to evolving statutory and regulatory disclosure requirements. Develop and review consolidation templates and schedules; prepare consolidation journals, eliminations, and intercompany reconciliations across the Group. Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial results, performing analytical reviews of subsidiary submissions to meet tight reporting deadlines. Address and resolve issues identified during internal and external audits in a timely and effective manner. Requirements: Big 4 Qualified Accountant. Focus on adding value by meeting customers needs and being flexible in doing so. Ability to engage multiple stakeholders with varying objectives and be able to contribute both individually and as part of a wider team.
