Muckalee Community Project is a purpose-built facility with large bright rooms and large outdoor areas suitable for all age groups. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and we are open 50 weeks per year 7:30am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
We are looking to hire a lead educator for our afterschool service. The hours are 1.30pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. Hours may differ outside of term time and additional hours may be available for candidates with childcare qualifications.
The Ideal candidate, should have experience working with primary school aged children, be fun and creative while also being able maintain a routine and structure for the children in their care.
A minimum of level 5 QQI qualification in Early Childhood Education would be advantageous, however this role might also suit some with experience working in coaching, recreation or social care fields. Support in completing their level 5 available for the right candidate.
Candidates should be able to work as a team but also on their own initiative,
Good communication skills (Fluency in both spoken & written English).
Minimum 1 year experience as a lead educator
