Overview
Serosep Ltd. is currently seeking a Tech Support Scientist to join our Technical Department. Reporting to the Technical Manager this role involves coordinating and responding to all clinical laboratory customer queries while maintaining quality procedures and documentation standards.
Responsibilities
* To provide timely technical support to clinical laboratories using the range of in vitro diagnostic devices supplied by Serosep in the fields of clinical microbiology, molecular diagnostics, haematology, histology, and immunohistochemistry
* Working closely with colleagues in the quality department to ensure all documentation required for completion of complaints /non-conformance raised, are completed within the required time frame
* Working closely with colleagues in Applications and Technical Support to ensure that all equipment is prepared and ready for customer sites as per company procedures
* Working with Technical Manager to create, maintain, update and curate technical documentation within the Technical Department in line with company’s quality and regulatory requirements
* Working closely with colleagues in Applications and Technical Support to ensure that everyone is completing and submitting the necessary documentation in a timely manner
Qualifications
* BSc in a Life Science Discipline or equivalent. Experience in molecular biology and techniques such as PCR is in advantage.
* Proficient use in Microsoft Office
* Excellent team player and multi-tasker
* Good organisation and time management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
